Stephanie Stilley has worked in the child custody mediation field since 1993 when she began working with Thomas L. Russell, LCSW. During that time, she has had extensive experience in working with families, children, and individuals; and has received training in mediation, writing reports for the Court, and other Family Law processes. Stephanie started doing informal supervised visitation many years ago, and with the conferral of her Master’s degree, has been providing all levels of supervised visitation including therapeutic for over five years. In addition, as a licensed clinical social worker, Stephanie has developed her practice in reunification counseling, individual (adults, children, adolescents) therapy, marriage/couple counseling, group therapy, co-parenting counseling, child custody mediation services, and collaborative divorce coaching.
Stephanie also has worked for three years as an Oncology Social Worker for the Cancer Resource Center, and as a Medical Social Worker at the inpatient setting through Marshall Medical Center in Placerville/Cameron Park. She has also formerly worked as a member of the Psychiatric Response Team at Sutter General/Memorial Hospitals evaluating for 5150 in the Emergency Departments.
As a student intern, Stephanie worked with a team of other professionals who provided multi-disciplinary assessments of adolescent (age 11-18) offenders who had been referred by the juvenile court for placement in group homes.
